About the Derbyshire FA Insurance Scheme
All affiliating clubs to the Derbyshire FA are currently insured with Sportsguard for Public Liability including Professional Indemnity and are also offered Personal Accident team insurance.
The policies held by the Derbyshire FA clubs are widely regarded as being the most comprehensive worded policies available to amateur football clubs. We operate this scheme with the help of the Derbyshire FA and we are freely available to give advice and information on the insurance provided.

How do I get insured?
To join the Derbyshire FA scheme, you must be affiliated to the Derbyshire FA.
Once your club is affiliated to the Derbyshire FA and paid the premium you will automatically be insured for Public Liability including Professional Indemnity.
For further cover and benefits to include Personal Accident negotiated especially for Derbyshire Clubs through the County and Sportsguard, the forms have previously been issued but you can download a copy of the forms from the bottom of this page.
All clubs will automatically be insured for Public Liability Insurance and offered an exceptional Personal Accident policy. The reason for the discounted premiums on the Personal Accident Insurance is due to a fixed start and expiry date, all policies start on the 1st July 2012 or the date the policy is purchased (whichever the latter) and will run until 30th June 2013.
What happens if I need to make a claim?
In order to make a claim you will need to contact us within 60 days (if after 60 days, you may still be eligible).
